NextGen Planners - Tackling Big Issues
Being part of the 2022 Speaker and Influencer program with Next Gen Planners. I delivered a keynote speech to a global audience virtually, and then in person.
I won this award for my talk Come as you are. An introduction into life of a queer person in the finance world, making you think about what you can do to improve inclusivity and my experience of homophobia in the workplace.

This inspiring programme showcases those who have gone above and beyond to do more: more for the community, more for their organisations, and more for their colleagues.
To achieve a place in the Top 100 Gamechangers, each person has had to demonstrate consistent involvement in diversity, equity and inclusion work, evidence their notable contributions and achievements, and demonstrate how they have inspired others.
LGBT Great - Project 1000 Role Models and Allies
Project 1000 is a five-year drive to spotlight 1000 LGBT+ and supportive allies working within the financial services industry. The overall goal is to improve awareness and visibility through our positive action initiatives. Our role models represent over sixty firms and three continents, including the USA, UK, EMEA and APAC. LGBT Great works collaboratively with other diversity initiatives, such as the Diversity Project, to maximise outreach. Our visible role models make a positive impact across the industry by inspiring others, increasing confidence and improving business reputation.

It Gets Better UK
It Gets Better UK exists to tell your story, and to inspire and empower young LGBTQ+ people. The aim is to both archive the stories of LGBTQ+ people, but also to combat the high levels of self-harm and suicide in LGBT+ youth by providing role models and the positive message that “It Gets Better”.

myGwork is the largest global business community of LGBTQ+ professionals, graduates, inclusive employers and anyone who believes in workplace equality. It empowers the LGBTQ+ community by offering individual members a safe space where they can connect with inclusive employers, find jobs, mentors, professional events, e-learning/training, news and much more.
Diversity Role Model
Diversity Role Models actively seeks to embed inclusion and empathy in the next generation. Their vision is a world where everyone embraces diversity and can thrive. This will help create a world where future generations embrace, accept and support difference. It aims to create an education system in which every young person will know they are valued and supported, whoever they are.

City & Guilds - Breaking Down Barriers

They advocate racial equality and visible role models at all levels of a company, in a business culture where anyone can succeed and see themselves as future leaders. Through sharing this credential with their networks, they are raising awareness and contributing to building equity in the workplace.
City & Guilds - Different Types of Minds
Earners of this credential have pledged their support for neuro-inclusive workplaces. They support the view that employers need to support neurodiverse employees to achieve their potential by embracing different types of minds. Through filling in the Neurodiversity Index survey, they are contributing to our first Neurodiversity Index Report, and through sharing this credential with their networks they are raising awareness and contributing to building equity in the workplace.
City & Guilds - Fair Chances for People
Earners of this credential have pledged their support for excluded groups and are advocates for creating fair chances for people with convictions to gain employment. They support the view employment helps people get their lives back on track and that having a job is proven to reduce reoffending. Through sharing this credential with their networks, they are raising awareness and contributing to building equity in the workplace.
